To kick off October we decided to share this gorgeous wedding for Lindsay and Justin that took place last Halloween at the Mission Inn Hotel and Spa. Our couple designed every flawless detail of their Halloween themed wedding down to the low lying fog that filled the chapel upon Lindsay’s entrance to meet her groom down the aisle.
The guests were guided through the ceremony by the fate of the exquisitely designed tarot card programs and into the reception staged in a Spanish Art Gallery. As the guests took their handcrafted potions to find their seats, the newlyweds grand entrance was delivered by clips from the legendary ghost host of Disney’s Haunted Mansion and the classic Dracula theme of Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in D Minor.
The bride and groom cut the anatomical bleeding heart cake together in traditional fashion and danced like Bowie to black & white flickering Halloween cartoons from the 1920’s. The happy couple infected all with their maniacal love, their luscious laughter, and the core essence of who they are which shone through everything that brought their big day together. Under the warm glow of candlelit apothecary bottles, oversized glass bell jars and plenty of black calla lilies they left all their guests, and us, wishing for more. It was so much fun to see all of the detail come together and to be a part of this wedding!
